Crying Monkey

Ok, so here is something.

Every once and awhile (or about eight times a day depending on what I’ve posted recently) I check my site stats to see if anyone is actually reading my blog. The stats tell me fun facts like, what people searched for when they found my blog.

The blog post I get the most hits on is one I did last year about the Dallas Maverick Dancers and their tiny clothes (A Maniac By Any Other Name). The people finding that post are searching for typical things like Cheerleaders, Dancers and Tiny Clothing on Well Endowed Women. I understand why they find my post and I understand their disappointment.

Second on the stat list is more of a mystery. I wrote another post last year  comparing myself to a monkey (Between Species). Every day I get people searching for “crying monkey” which leads them to that post. EVERY DAY.

First, who is searching for crying monkeys? Why are they searching for crying monkeys? Are they hoping to help them? Are they looking for ways to make monkeys cry? Is there a crying monkey fetish group out there? And the biggest question, why are they finding my site. I can’t get anyone to find my blog and yet, the crying monkey people are working it out? Come on?!

So many questions.
